Dunhill and O’Brien have been working collaboratively since 1998, they are based in London, UK. They have been involved in exhibitions in galleries and project spaces in the UK, Ireland, Holland, Italy, Germany and Japan and have participated in residencies including the British School at Rome and the European Ceramic Work Centre s’Hertogenbosch, Holland.

Dunhill and O’Brien also edit and direct the research portal : www.collabarts.org that investigates the nature of, and issues related to, collaborative art practice through essays, links, interviews and a timeline.

Mark Dunhill has a BA ( Hons ) in Fine Art from Bristol Polytechnic and graduated with an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art, London. He is currently Dean of Academic Programmes at Central Saint Martins ( University of the Arts London ).

Tamiko O’Brien studied Fine Art BA (Hons) at North East London Polytechnic and graduated with an MA in Sculpture from Chelsea College of Art, London. She is currently Associate Professor in Fine Art, Associate Dean of Research and Head of School of Art at the Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design.
